Brett Larder

Brett Larder is currently the Co-founder and CTO of Machine Discovery, a position they have held since May 2019. Prior to this, they worked at the University of Oxford as a Research Software Engineer from June 2016 to October 2016, where they developed a machine learning platform for automated data analysis. Before that, Brett worked as a Freelance Software Engineer from October 2014 to June 2015. Brett also had a brief stint as a Research Software Engineer at the University of Oxford from August 2014 to October 2014.

Brett Larder pursued higher education at the University of Oxford, starting in 2011. Between 2011 and 2016, Brett completed a Master's Degree with a major in Physics. Building upon this foundational knowledge, Brett further enhanced their academic qualifications by earning a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Atomic and Laser Physics from the same institution. This doctoral program spanned from 2016 to 2020.
