Gretta Duleba

Gretta Duleba currently serves as the Communications Manager at the Machine Intelligence Research Institute, focusing on the existential risks posed by smarter-than-human artificial intelligence. Prior to this role, Gretta was the Owner of Viridian Counseling, a private psychotherapy practice dedicated to enhancing relationships for analytical and technical individuals. Gretta has extensive experience in the tech industry, having progressed through various engineering and management roles at Google from 2007 to 2015, including Senior Engineering Manager and Site Reliability Manager. Gretta's early career included programming and software development positions at Surreal Software, Asta Networks, and Compaq Systems Research Center. Gretta holds a Master of Arts in Marriage and Family Therapy from Antioch University Seattle, a Master of Science in Computer Science from the University of Washington, and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and Mathematics from Duke University.
