Gaël Moccand

Gael Moccand is a Principal Engineer at machineMD, focusing on the design and development of the neos software stack for an innovative diagnostic device aimed at early diagnosis of brain disorders. Previously, in a role as Principal R&D Engineer at Hitachi Energy, Gael contributed to the development of wired communications products for mission-critical systems, specializing in C++ applications and cyber security features. Gael's experience also includes a position as Senior R&D Software Engineer at Enovis, where responsibilities entailed designing software for Class IIb medical devices and implementing secure updates. Prior roles at SICPA involved developing computer vision algorithms, while work at GfK focused on embedded software for audience measurement devices. Gael holds a Master of Science in Embedded Systems Design from USI Università della Svizzera italiana and a Nanodegree in Computer Vision from Udacity.
