Brian Gambs

Brian Gambs is an accomplished technology executive with extensive experience in the healthcare industry. Currently serving as Chief Technology Officer at Machinify since January 2025, Gambs previously held the same position at R1 RCM from January 2022 to January 2025 and at Bright Health from January 2018 to December 2022. Prior to these roles, Gambs was Vice President of Engineering and Principal Architect at athenahealth between January 2016 and January 2018. Gambs co-founded Patient IO, acting as CTO from January 2013 until its acquisition by athenahealth in August 2016, where the focus was on pioneering care management solutions. Brian Gambs is an alumnus of the University of Michigan.
