Claire Toombs

Finance Director at MacIntyre

Claire Toombs is the current Finance Director at MacIntyre. Claire has also held positions as an Assistant Professor, an Instructor, and a Research and Design Specialist. Toombs has been passionate about upgrading teaching and learning throughout their career, and has also been heavily involved in coaching students and advising them on their career paths. In their previous position as a Senior Lecturer and Program Coordinator at Fairleigh Dickinson University - Vancouver, they were responsible for coordinating and overseeing the administrative studies program.

Claire Toombs has a Doctor of Education from the University of Phoenix in Curriculum & Instructional Design, an MBA from The University of British Columbia in strategic planning & OD, a Certificate of Executive Coaching from Royal Roads University, and an Engineer’s Degree from Dalhousie University in Engineering. Claire also has a Diploma in Engineering from Saint Mary's University (PH) in Engineering and a Bachelor of Engineering - BE from Dalhousie University in Industrial Engineering. In addition, they have a Master of Business Administration - MBA from The University of British Columbia in Strategic Planning and a Doctorate from the University of British Columbia in Education. Claire is certified by the CPHR BC & Yukon as a CPHR member and by the BCHRMA as a CPHR.
