Shamar A.

Shamar A. has a diverse range of work experience. Starting in 2014, they worked as a Teacher's Assistant for the Summer Youth Employment program. In 2015, they interned at The Hedaya Capital Group as an Office Intern for two years. In 2018, they interned at the Mayor's Office of Immigrant Affairs as an Outreach Intern. In 2019, they interned at EY as an FSO Launch Intern. In 2020, they continued working at EY as an Audit Intern. In 2022, they became an Audit Staff member at EY, where they worked until May 2023. Currently, they are working as an Accountant at Mack Real Estate Group.

Shamar A. attended Benjamin Banneker Academy from 2013 to 2017, where they obtained a high school degree in Humanities/Humanistic Studies. Following this, they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Syracuse University - Martin J. Whitman School of Management from 2017 to 2021. Shamar also obtained additional certifications, including an EY Innovation - Design thinking - Intern certificate from EY in July 2020 and a Microsoft Office Specialist Excel 2016 certificate from Microsoft in September 2017.
