Bob Bennett

Test Engineer 3 at Mack Technologies Inc.

Bob Bennett has over 30 years of work experience. Bob began their career in 1986 as an Engineering Lab Technician at Scientific Atlanta, where they assisted in testing and developing satellite communications systems. Bob then moved on to JDSU in 1997, working as a Test Engineer. In this role, they supported and developed testing solutions for lightwave test equipment, optical fiber telecommunications networking, and military product lines. Bob also played a key role in transitioning newly designed products from research and development into manufacturing and production testing. Currently, Bob is a Test Engineer II at Mack Technologies, a position they have held since 2004. In this role, they focus on developing new procedures and processes for production projects and assemblies. Bob also provides training and technical assistance to test operators and technicians supporting the production rollout of PCBA products for military contractors.

Bob Bennett attended Indian River State College from 1984 to 1986, where they earned an Associate of Science degree in Electronics Engineering Technology with a specialization in Electrical and Electronics Engineering. Prior to that, from 1979 to 1983, Bob attended Blackstone Valley Vocational Regional School District, where they obtained a Trade Certificate and a High School Diploma in Industrial Electronics Technology/Technician. In addition to their formal education, in June 2015, Bob obtained a certification in IPC-A-610 from the IPC-Association Connecting Electronics Industries.
