Melanie Poe

Melanie Poe is a highly experienced planning and entitlement specialist with a diverse background in land use and development. Currently serving as a Senior Planner at MacKay Sposito since February 2021, Melanie has previously held significant roles including Landscape Architect and Entitlements Specialist at PM Design Group, Inc. and Principal Planner at Torvale Architecture, Design & Planning. Additional experience includes project management at Torvale, LLC and American Pacific Communities, where expertise in managing mixed-use commercial and residential projects was demonstrated. Melanie began their career as a Project Planner at Western Planning Associates Inc., achieving a high project approval rate through the completion of over 50 land use applications. Educational credentials include a Master of Science in Urban Design from The University of Edinburgh and a Bachelor of Landscape Architecture from the University of Oregon.
