Chris Burden

Chris Burden, RN, BScN, currently serves as a Patient Care Manager for the Critical Care Unit and Critical Care Response Team at Mackenzie Health since December 2022. With extensive experience in critical care, Chris Burden has been a Critical Care Registered Nurse at Markham Stouffville Hospital since June 2009, also taking on roles such as Professional Practice Leader and Registered Nurse in Cardiology. Previous positions include Organ and Tissue Donation Coordinator at Trillium Gift of Life Network from June 2017 to March 2023 and Patient Care Manager at Toronto Grace Health Centre from December 2020 to December 2022. Chris Burden has also contributed to education as a Critical Care Clinical Educator at George Brown College from January 2015 to April 2019. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from York University and a Critical Care Certificate from Seneca Polytechnic, with ongoing studies for a Master's of Nursing at Athabasca University.
