Uyiosa Alma Ebomwonyi

Uyiosa Alma Ebomwonyi has a diverse and extensive work experience. Starting in 2015, they worked as a Social Support Worker at Beth Tikvah Foundation. In 2017, they worked as a Registered Nurse in various roles at Trillium Health Partners, Discover Birth (as a Birth Doula), and Newlife Fertility. In 2018, they joined William Osler Health System as a Charge Nurse/Team Lead and Registered Nurse in Labor & Delivery. From 2020 to 2022, they worked as a Public Health Nurse for the City of Toronto. In 2021, they became a Clinical Instructor at Humber College. Later in 2022, they served as a Director of Care at Niagara Ina Grafton Gage Village and Revera Inc. Currently, they hold the position of Clinical Applications Analyst and Team Lead at Mackenzie Health.

Uyiosa Alma Ebomwonyi completed their education at McMaster University. From 2012 to 2016, they earned a Bachelor of Science in Nursing, specializing in Registered Nursing/Registered Nurse. Afterward, they pursued further education and completed a Health Informatics Diploma from McMaster University, which took place from 2022 to 2024. In addition to their degrees, Uyiosa obtained several certifications, including EpicCare Inpatient Clinical Documentation from Epic in July 2023, Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt Certification from Six Sigma Global Institute in April 2023, Infection Prevention and Control Certification from IPAC Consulting - Infection Control in December 2022, and Registered Nurse (RN) certification from the College of Nurses of Ontario in May 2017.
