Beth Kenyon

Therapeutic Specialist at MacKillop Family Services

Beth Kenyon started their work experience as a Retail Assistant at Sunglass Hut in November 2014. Beth then worked as a Clinic Receptionist at the Sydney Cochlear Implant Centre in Canberra from December 2015 to June 2016. Beth worked as a Housekeeper at SilverStar Mountain Resort from November 2016 to February 2017. Beth then worked as a Waitress at Muffin Break Cafes from March 2017 to April 2018. Beth joined Peter's of Kensington as a Customer Service Representative in May 2018 and worked there until February 2020. In February 2021, they became a Wellbeing Staff Member at Brentwood Secondary College, providing support to school refusing students facing mental illness and trauma. From July 2021 to March 2022, they worked as a Social Work Placement Student at African Family Services, offering case management and support to African-Australian individuals, families, and communities experiencing family violence and mental health conditions. Currently, Beth is working as an Enhanced Lead Tenant Case Manager at MacKillop Family Services since March 2022.

Beth Kenyon has a diverse educational background. Beth completed their Master of Social Work (MSW) degree at RMIT University from 2020 to 2021, with a concentration in Social Work. Prior to that, they attended UNSW from 2014 to 2020, where they pursued a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) degree in Photography and Ceramics and a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Sociology and Anthropology, as well as History.

In addition to their academic pursuits, Beth has also obtained certifications in various areas. In June 2020, they obtained the "Working with Children Check" certification from the Melbourne State Government of Victoria, demonstrating their suitability to work with children. Beth also obtained a "First Aid" certification from CPR FirstAid in March 2020, indicating their competence in providing initial medical assistance in emergency situations.
