Sarah Nichols

Client Outcomes Coordinator at MacKillop Family Services

Sarah Nichols has a diverse range of work experience in the social services sector. Sarah began their career in 2011 at AMES Australia as a Case Manager for the Humanitarian Settlement Service, where they worked until 2014. Sarah then transitioned to the Migrant Information Centre, where they served as a Settlement Worker for three years. In 2017, they joined the Centre for Multicultural Youth as an Education Project Officer and worked there until 2018. Sarah then joined Berry Street as a School Focused Youth Service Coordinator for a year. From 2019 to 2021, they worked at the Department of Social Services (DSS), first as a Case Coordinator for the National Redress Scheme and then as a Team Leader for the same program. Most recently, they have been employed at healthAbility as a School Focused Youth Service Coordinator. In 2023, Sarah will begin working as a Client Outcomes Coordinator at MacKillop Family Services.

Sarah Nichols has a diverse education history. Sarah first attended Melbourne Polytechnic from 2002 to 2003, where they obtained a Diploma of Visual Arts with a focus on Photomedia. In 2004, they went on to study at Victoria University and completed a Bachelor of Arts in Literature and History, graduating in 2006. Continuing their education, they then attended Deakin University from 2007 to 2008, earning a Graduate Diploma of Professional Writing. Lastly, they pursued a Master of Social Work at RMIT University from 2009 to 2011.
