Shawn Unthank

Shawn Unthank is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in sales and engineering within the electrical utility sector. Currently serving as the VP of Sales: Transmission at MacLean Power Systems since January 2024, Shawn focuses on enhancing relationships with EPC, packagers, and utilities while establishing the company as a premier transmission solution provider in North America. Previously, Shawn founded and served as President of Midwest Technical Sales LLC, a manufacturer's representative agency, from June 2006 to April 2023. Additional roles include founding board member at Kansas City Utility Packaging, regional manager at Electrorep Energy Products, and national manager at HD Supply. Educational qualifications include a Ph.D. in Biblical Theology from Midwestern Baptist Theological Seminary and a Master’s degree in Engineering Management from The University of Kansas, along with other advanced degrees in related fields.
