Cathy Searby

Cathy Searby is the founder of Palo Alto Staffing Services, established in October 1976. Under the Snelling & Snelling Franchise system, Cathy transformed the staffing business into a top producer among 650 locations, operating independently since 1997. The firm has been recognized as one of the Top 50 Fastest-Growing Private Companies in the Bay Area and listed among the 25 Largest Staffing Firms by the San Francisco Business Times in 2010 and 2013. Additionally, Southwest Airlines’ SPIRIT magazine named the company one of the 10 Most Dependable Staffing Firms in California. Prior to founding Palo Alto Staffing Services, Cathy served as an Administrative Coordinator at the US Department of State from February 1974 to January 1976, assisting with event planning for US Ambassadors and Political Officials. Cathy holds a B.A. in Sociology from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, earned from 1981 to 1984.
