Biplab Kar

Biplab Kar has over 17 years of extensive experience in International Business, currently serving as Associate Vice President at MACLEODS PHARMACEUTICALS LTD. since December 2014, where responsibilities include overseeing business operations across various regions, including Europe, China, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, and Southeast Asia. Prior roles at Torrent Pharmaceuticals Ltd. included Senior General Manager and General Manager, with a focus on business functions in the EU, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, and MENA. Biplab played a pivotal role in establishing business structures across European markets and executing expansion strategies through both organic and inorganic methods. Previous experiences include positions as Assistant General Manager in International Business and Business Development Manager at Torrent, as well as a series of earlier roles at NIPER. Biplab holds an MBA in Pharmaceuticals from the National Institute of Pharmaceutical Education and Research, a B.Pharmacy from Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, and a PGDIPRL from the National Law School of India University.
