Ben Lane

Ben Lane possesses extensive experience in the mining industry, currently serving as Project Manager at Macmahon since February 2024. Previously, Ben held various leadership roles at Pit N Portal from February 2021 to February 2024, including Alt Project Manager, Mine Foreman, and Shift Supervisor. Ben also worked as a Shift Supervisor at KCGM from January 2020 to February 2021 and served as Project Manager and Underground Mine Foreman during two tenures at Pit 'n Portal from October 2016 to January 2020 and November 2014 to January 2020, respectively. Earlier positions include Underground Shift Supervisor/Foreman at La Mancha Resources, Underground Supervisor at GBF, and Air Leg Miner/Shift Boss at Daisy Milano. Ben's foundational experience in rail development, raising, stoping, sub-level drives, shaft sinking, and refurbishment has been complemented by education at Warragul High School in Victoria.
