Stuart Simms

Stuart Simms is a seasoned maintenance professional with extensive experience in the mining and maintenance sectors. Currently serving as Maintenance Manager and previously as Maintenance Superintendent at Macmahon since December 2021, Stuart has held various roles including Components Manager with DYNAMIC MAINTENANCE SERVICES LTD and maintenance supervisory positions at GBF Underground Mining Company, where responsibilities included directing mechanical maintenance at the Deflector Gold Project and overseeing operations at multiple gold mines. Prior to that, as a self-employed Managing Director, Stuart implemented strategic business initiatives and built strong stakeholder relationships, and earlier career experience includes roles as a Field Service Technician and Supervisor with Dynamic Mechanical Services. Stuart holds a Certificate IV in Mechanical Engineering from Curtin University.
