Kristin Peikert, SPHR has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Kristin has held various leadership roles in the field of Human Resources, focusing on strategic planning, organization development, talent development, performance management, and employee relations. In their most recent role as Senior Vice President, People & Culture at Macmillan Learning, they were responsible for all aspects of strategic planning and execution of communication, employee development, and employee equity programs. Prior to that, they served as Vice President of Human Resources at Macmillan Learning and as a Senior Director and Human Resources Director at different companies. Kristin has also worked as a Vice President at Hill+Knowlton Strategies and held managerial positions at BreakingPoint Systems, Inc./Ixia and Integrated Screening Partners. Their areas of expertise include onboarding process redesign, employee engagement evaluation, performance evaluation programs, organizational design, talent acquisition, finance and accounting functions, benefits administration, labor law compliance, and employee mediation.

Kristin Peikert, SPHR completed their undergraduate education at The University of Texas at Austin from 1997 to 2002. Kristin obtained a degree in Liberal Arts with a focus on Psychology. In terms of additional certifications, they received the Senior Professional in Human Resources® (SPHR®) Certification from HRCI in January 2012. In December 2016, they obtained a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt Certification from Macmillan Learning. In March 2023, they completed a certification course on Practicing Allyship at Macmillan Learning. Additionally, in May 2023, they obtained a certification on AI Applications in People Management from the University of Pennsylvania.
