Shawn Foster

Shawn Foster is currently serving as the Vice President of Children's Sales at Macmillan since June 2024, following a long tenure at Hachette Book Group from 2004 to July 2024, where Foster held several key positions including Vice President, Executive Director, and Sales Director, managing national accounts for prominent retailers such as Barnes & Noble, Walmart, and Target. Prior experience includes roles as National Account Manager at Time Warner Book Group from 2002 to 2004 and as a National Account Representative at Time Warner Trade Publishing from 2001 to 2002, as well as serving as a Field Sales Representative and Trade Sales Coordinator at Little, Brown and Company from 1992 to 2001. Shawn Foster holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in English Language and Literature from the University of Massachusetts Amherst and completed The Publishing Institute Summer Program at The University of Denver in 1990.
