Ernest Muhigana is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in product line management and strategic marketing within the telecommunications and networking industries. Currently serving as the Sr. Director of Product Line Management at MACOM since September 2025, Ernest previously held significant roles at Lumentum, where responsibilities included consortia representation and product strategy advocacy. With a strong background in 100G+ digital coherent optics and VoIP processors, Ernest has also contributed to business development and marketing for various cutting-edge technologies across leading companies such as OCLARO, Microsemi Corporation, Mindspeed Technologies, Broadcom, and Alcatel-Lucent. Educational qualifications include an MBA in International Business Management from United Business Institutes and a Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Tsinghua University.
