James Sawyer

James Sawyer is the current President at Macomb Community College. James has been in this role since November 2007. Prior to that, they were the Vice Provost at Macomb Community College from June 2002 to November 2007. James was also the Dean of Engineering & Advanced Technology from June 2002 to November 2007.

James Sawyer has a Doctor of Education from Central Michigan University in Educational Leadership and Administration, a Master's degree in Administration from Central Michigan University, and a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from Lawrence Technological University. James is also certified by the ASQ (American Society for Quality) as a Certified Quality Engineer.
