Sadie Kemp

Sadie Kemp is a highly experienced Senior Research Lab Technician at Macomics since September 2021, previously serving as a Research Laboratory Technician at Edinburgh Napier University from May 2014 to September 2021, focusing on cancer metastasis signaling molecules and antibiotic resistance. Prior to that, Sadie worked at The University of Edinburgh from January 2006 to March 2014, exploring gene regulation mechanisms and the nervous system development in Drosophila melanogaster. Earlier experience includes a Technical Officer role at Moredun Scientific, conducting contract research for veterinary and human medicines, as well as various roles in hospitality and retail. Sadie holds a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) Hons in Natural Science from The Open University and additional certifications in mental health and team leading from West College Scotland.
