Darren Hilder

Darren Hilder currently serves as the Group Head of Operational Risk at Macquarie Group, a position held since October 2023. Prior to this role, Darren was a Managing Director of Operational Risk at Morgan Stanley between January 2015 and October 2023, with expertise in fraud, third-party management, information security, and stress testing. Prior experience includes serving as the Global Head of Fraud Risk and Head of Audit at Barclays Capital from January 2010 to December 2014, as well as the Executive Audit Manager for Institutional Banking at Westpac from 2006 to 2010. Earlier in the career, Darren worked at Deloitte & Touche in the Capital Markets division from 2004 to 2006. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Commerce in Business Economics and a Bachelor of Commerce Honors in Finance, both from the University of the Witwatersrand.
