Gordon Cairns

Gordon Cairns is an Australian business executive with a long and successful career in a variety of industries. Gordon is currently the Independent Voting Director at Macquarie Group.

Prior to their current role, Gordon served as Senior Advisor at McKinsey & Company from January 2007 to September 2015. Gordon was also a Non Executive Director at Westpac Group from January 2005 to December 2014. From 1996 to 2004, they were the CEO of Lion Nathan, Australasia's #1 beer and wine company.

In addition to their corporate roles, Gordon has also served as Chairman & NED of Quick Service Restaurants from January 2011 to May 2017, and as a board member of World Education Australia. Gordon began their career in 1987 as Managing Director of PepsiCo (Frito-Lay) Australia, a position they held for five years.
