Kate Thomson

Kate Thomson is a medical student at the University of Wollongong since March 2023, while also serving as Safety Director - Metro Martin Place at Macquarie Group since July 2019. Previously, Kate held the position of Head of Environment, Health, and Safety at Ferrovial Services North America from June 2015 to August 2018, focusing on creating an injury-free workplace. Additional experience includes working as an HSEC Specialist at BHP Billiton from March 2011 to March 2013, providing compliance advice and developing health and safety training programs. Academic qualifications include a Master’s Degree in Registered Nursing from The University of Queensland, a Master's in International Health from Curtin University, and a Bachelor's in Rehabilitation and Exercise Science from The University of Western Australia.
