Shemara Wikramanayake

Shemara Wikramanayake is the current Managing Director and CEO of Macquarie Group. Shemara has held this position since August 2020. Prior to this, they were the Associate Director of Group Treasury at Macquarie Group from June 2010 to August 2020. Shemara also served as the Senior Manager at Macquarie Group from June 2007 to June 2010. Shemara started their career as a Research Officer at the Australian Bureau of Statistics from January 2005 to May 2007.

Shemara Wikramanayake has a Master of Finance from INSEAD and a Masters of Applied Statistics from The Australian National University. Shemara also has a Bachelor of Mathematics (Honours) from the University of Wollongong.
