Charlie Shin

Charlie Shin is a seasoned networking professional with extensive experience in various engineering roles. Currently serving as a Cloud Network Architect at Macquarie Telecom Group since January 2017, Charlie previously worked as an Advanced TAC Engineer at Juniper Networks, providing top-tier support for SRX and J-series platforms. Prior experience includes a Senior Network Engineer role at both Alcatel-Lucent and Lucent Technologies, specializing in managing IP/MPLS networks with expertise in VLAN switching, MPLS, and various routing protocols. Additionally, Charlie spent over six years at Samsung Telecommunications, overseeing critical systems in the CDMA network. Charlie holds a Master of Engineering in Biomedical/Medical Engineering and a Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Engineering, both obtained from UNSW.
