Raymond Phoon

Raymond Phoon is a seasoned IT professional with extensive experience in cloud architecture and managed services. Since September 2010, Raymond has held various positions at Macquarie Telecom Group, currently serving as Lead Azure Architect, where contributions include establishing the Azure Practice and leading a Managed Services offering that received the Managed Services Innovation of the Year award at the Glotel Awards in 2020. Prior to this role, Raymond held positions such as Senior Cloud Architect - Azure and Systems Architect at Dimension Data, where responsibilities included the architectural design and implementation of systems for managed services clients. Raymond also has a foundational background as a Wintel Engineer at KAZ Group, leading an internal support team. Educational qualifications include an MBA from Macquarie Graduate School of Management and a Bachelor of Engineering in Telecommunications from the University of Technology Sydney.
