Jon Nysse has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Jon started their career at Gander Outdoors in 2010 as the Director of Law Enforcement Sales. Later, in 2014, they worked at OWH Tactical as a Gov/Law Enforcement Sales representative. In 2016, Jon joined Hydra-Flex, Inc as an Industrial Sales Manager. Jon then moved on to Tornado Global Hydrovacs in 2018, where they served as the Director of Business Development, Sales, and Marketing. In 2017, Jon became a Co-Owner of Hydrovac Nation, a position they held until 2021. Since 2019, they have been working at MacQueen Equipment in progressively responsible roles. Currently, Jon holds the position of Director of Rental & Sales Operations.
Jon Nysse obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Political Science from Luther College. In addition, they obtained several certifications including the Barrett Bolt Rifle Armorer Certification from Barrett Firearms Mfg, Inc, the GLOCK Armorer Certification from GLOCK, Inc., the Sig Sauer 226/229 Armorer Certification from SIG SAUER, Inc., the Sig Sauer AR15 (M400/516) Armorer Certification from SIG SAUER, Inc., the Sig Sauer P320 Armorer Certification from SIG SAUER, Inc., and the Smith & Wesson M&P Armorer Certification from Smith & Wesson. All of these certifications were obtained in 2014, but the exact month is unknown.

Since 1961 the MacQueen Equipment Group has been growing and serving multiple heavy equipment industries in the Midwest. In addition to sales, MacQueen has five service facilities that provide maintenance, parts and training that deliver maximum uptime for their customers. MacQueen recently expanded into a brand-new headquarters facility in St. Paul to better serve their customers and their employees as the company continues to grow.
