Khadija Mahanga

With a degree in Computer Science and honors in Information Systems from the University of Cape Town, Khadija is particularly inspired and passionate about the use of technology to advance public good.

Having spent over 5 years in software engineering, Khadija wrangled with various kinds of data, performed numerical analysis, and solved complex engineering problems with optimization techniques. It was then she realized she enjoyed leveraging the power of data analysis to find the solutions as much as engineering.

Prior to joining Macro-Eyes, Khadija worked as a Technologist at Code for Africa, an organization dedicated to building open data digital infrastructure and civic tools to strengthen civic engagement.
