Baris Guzel

Baris Guzel is a Partner at BMW i Ventures since March 2017, with a strong background in board leadership roles, including positions as Board Director at Tekion Corp, AMPECO, and MacroFab, as well as Board Observer at Xometry, ZUM, Our Next Energy, Inc., and Simr (formerly UberCloud). Guzel has a proven track record of leading funding rounds, notably Series B at Tekion Corp and Xometry, and Series A at AMPECO and Qualytics. Academic credentials include a Master of Engineering Management in Technology Management and Entrepreneurship from Duke University, an MBA from UNC Kenan-Flagler Business School, and a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering from Istanbul Technical University, along with an Erasmus Exchange program at RPTU Kaiserslautern-Landau.
