Stephen Armstrong

Stephen Armstrong is an accomplished professional in the field of medical writing with extensive experience in regulatory document development. Currently serving as Associate Director at MacroGenics, Inc. since August 2019, Stephen leads the medical writing department, overseeing staff and external resources while acting as a subject matter expert in regulatory documentation such as clinical protocols and Biologics License Applications. Prior to this, Stephen held successive positions at AstraZeneca and MedImmune, where responsibilities included authoring and reviewing clinical regulatory documents. Earlier roles include a medical writer position at Technical Resources International, a freelance editor, and research roles at the University of Western Australia and the National Institutes of Health. Stephen holds a Ph.D. in Neuroendocrinology, an MSc in Molecular Neuroscience, and a BSc in Biochemistry from the University of Bristol.
