Vandana Chowta Joshi

Vandana Chowta Joshi has a strong background in drug safety and pharmacovigilance. Vandana is currently serving as the Associate Director of Product Safety at MacroGenics Inc. since July 2023. Prior to that, they worked at NOVAVAX INC, where they held the positions of Associate Director of Global Vaccine Safety from April 2021 to July 2023, and Senior Manager of Product Safety and Pharmacovigilance from June 2020 to April 2021. Before joining NOVAVAX, Vandana worked at Sage Therapeutics as a Pharmacovigilance Operations Manager from July 2019 to June 2020. Vandana also gained valuable experience at Vertex Pharmaceuticals, where they served as a PV Manager from February 2015 to August 2015, and as a Sr. Clinical Safety Specialist from May 2012 to February 2015. Vandana's career started at Genzyme as a Drug Safety Specialist from January 2010 to December 2011.

Vandana Chowta Joshi has a Master's degree in Pharmaceutical Manufacturing from Stevens Institute of Technology, which they obtained from 2008 to 2010. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy from Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, from 2002 to 2006. Vandana also holds a Professional Diploma in Clinical Research from Catalyst Clinical Services, which they obtained in 2005. Additionally, Vandana has obtained a certification in Summary Statistics in Public Health from Coursera in June 2019, and a Certificate of special study in project engineering in pharmaceutical manufacturing from Stevens Institute of Technology in May 2010.
