Virgil Bretz

Virgil Bretz is a seasoned executive with extensive experience in the healthcare and technology sectors. Currently serving as the CEO of MacroHealth since July 2017, Bretz leads a health analytics and technology company focused on creating Intelligent Healthcare Markets. In addition to this role, Bretz has been a member of the Board of Directors at Midmark Corporation since 2013, a company specializing in clinical environmental design for improved care experiences. Previous positions include Partner at VIDA Health Group from July 2015 to July 2017, Co-Founder of One Hundred Years, LLC from February 2009 to June 2014, SVP of Strategic Development at UnitedHealth Group from October 2006 to January 2009, and Co-Founder and CEO of Hygeia Corporation from October 1994 to February 2007. Bretz holds an Owner/President Management Program degree from Harvard Business School and has a background in education from the University of Toronto.
