Jon Gelsey

Board Member at Macrometa

Jon Gelsey is a board member at Macrometa and the former CEO of Xnor.ai, a machine learning innovation pioneer that was spun out of the University of Washington and the Allen Institute for AI. Jon was acquired by Apple in January 2020. Prior to Xnor.ai, they were the CEO of Auth0, the enterprise identity management platform that developers love. Jon delighted developers with a zero friction identity and access management solution for cloud-hybrid applications and APIs. In a world where identity is the new firewall, Auth0 let developers authenticate any application or API on any platform to any identity provider with just a few lines of code and our cloud service.

Gelsey has also held the position of Director, Strategy and M&A at Microsoft from January 2007 to January 2014. Jon was also a member of Board of Advisors at Spaceknow from January 2014 to June 2014, and a member of Board of Directors at Academy for Precision Learning from August 2009 to June 2014. Furthermore, they were the CEO and Founder of Home Network News from January 2006 to December 2007.

Jon Gelsey has a BA in Elec & Computer Engineering from The University of Texas at Austin, as well as a BS in Philosophy and German from the same school.
