Sean MacPhail

Sean MacPhail is a Design Engineer at MacTaggart Scott since October 2019, specializing in the design of equipment and components for marine-based handling applications. Responsibilities include completing supporting calculations, draughting technical drawings, and producing comprehensive technical documentation. Previously, Sean held the position of Developing Engineer, focusing on designing and draughting equipment, as well as providing technical input for bids and inquiries. In June 2019, Sean completed an internship at the Advanced Forming Research Centre at the University of Strathclyde, honing skills in machining and additive manufacturing. Sean holds an MEng in Product Design Engineering, with a focus on Design, Manufacture, and Engineering Management from the University of Strathclyde, earned in 2019.
