Ashley O'Connell

Ashley O'Connell is a seasoned professional in product development and fashion merchandising, currently serving as a Senior Product Development Manager for Women's Shoes at Macy's since May 2016. With a strong background in trend forecasting, market research, and sustainability, Ashley has successfully launched the private label brand “On 34th” and exceeded sustainability goals by 53%. Previously, Ashley held various positions within Macy's, demonstrating expertise in cost negotiations, online product accuracy, and cross-functional collaboration. Additional experience includes reporting and photography for Hampton Daze Magazine and The Independent newspaper, along with stint as a Product Control Manager at Masa Design and freelance writing. Ashley O'Connell holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Fashion Merchandising from the Fashion Institute of Technology.
