Betsy Wood

Betsy Wood is a Senior Counsel in Real Estate at Macy’s, where they represent the company in various legal matters related to its portfolio, including department stores and standalone locations. Previously, they served as a Senior Leasing Counsel at Simon Property Group and as Assistant General Counsel at Luxottica Retail, where they managed commercial leases for over 5,000 stores. Betsy began their legal career as a Corporate Attorney for The United States Shoe Corporation, specializing in commercial real estate and business contracts. They also held the position of Senior Counsel at Bartko Zankel Bunzel & Miller, focusing on retail and office leasing transactions. Educated at the University of Cincinnati, Betsy earned a Juris Doctor and a BA in Political Science.
