Carly Comparato

Carly Comparato is a seasoned UX researcher currently serving as a UX Research Advisor at Macy's since September 2024. Prior to this role, Carly accumulated extensive experience at GlossGenius, starting as a User Experience Intern in June 2022, progressing to Associate UX Researcher, and ultimately holding the position of UX Researcher from January 2023 to October 2024. In these roles, Carly led high-priority projects and collaborated with cross-functional teams. Earlier experience includes a User Experience Research Intern position at Toast from September 2020 to August 2021, where Carly conducted research that informed the company's DEI, e-commerce, and onboarding strategies, as well as a User Experience Intern role at Toast, Inc. during the summer of 2019. Carly holds a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology with a minor in Studio Art from Georgetown University, completed in December 2022, following education at Waring School from 2012 to 2018.
