John Lytle has demonstrated significant expertise in merchandising and brand strategy through diverse professional experiences. Currently an Assistant Buyer for Luggage at Macy's, John serves as a key liaison among numerous external vendor partners and internal teams, driving sales and enhancing the omnichannel customer experience. As a member of Macy's Executive Development Program, John presented a seasonal product strategy to C-suite executives. Previously, John founded 2001 Westernwear, successfully launching an American-made brand through strategic collaboration with manufacturing partners and impactful marketing campaigns. Additionally, as a Design and Merchandising Intern at Nordstrom, John realigned buying strategies to capture significant unrealized sales and offered insights to improve women's wear collections. Educationally, John holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts from the University of Southern California and is pursuing a Master of Professional Studies in Branding from the School of Visual Arts.
