Shira Solomon

Shira Solomon is an experienced business professional currently serving as the Business Director for Housewares, Tabletop, and Trim at Macy's since September 2015. In this role, Shira acts as Chief of Staff to the VP Divisional Manager, overseeing marketing strategy, store execution, and strategic initiatives across seven buying offices, while managing a team of five. Previous roles at Macy's include Associate Buyer for Men’s Apparel, where Shira developed merchandise strategies, and Associate Financial Planner for Women’s Sleepwear, focusing on sales targets and inventory turnover. Earlier experience includes positions with Gannett as a Corporate Marketing Intern and with BBYO as a Development Intern. Shira holds an undergraduate degree in Event Management and Information Systems from The George Washington University School of Business, completed in 2015.
