Ashley Robbins has been working since 2010, beginning with a role as an Enumerator at the U.S. Census Bureau. In 2010, they also took on the role of Team Lead at Aqua America. In 2013, they began working as a Freelance Publicist at Free at Last Music. From 2014-2015, they held two positions simultaneously as a Social Media Marketing Manager/Brand Manager at Life's Grand and a CSR at Spectrum (formerly Time Warner Cable). In 2015, they also began working as a Recreation Supervisor at the City of Raleigh Parks, Recreation & Cultural Resources. In 2021, Ashley took on a role as a Brand Ambassador at Mad Rabbit. Finally, in 2022, Ashley began their current role as a Durham Lead Organizer at the North Carolina Black Leadership Organizing Collective.
Ashley Robbins has a comprehensive education history. Ashley obtained a Diploma from Needham B Broughton in 2001, a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Communication and Media Studies from North Carolina State University in 2006, and is currently pursuing a Master of Public Administration - MPA from North Carolina Central University, expected to be completed in 2023. Ashley also has a Business Administration and Management, General degree from Capella University, which they completed in 2011. In addition to their formal education, Ashley has obtained numerous certifications from North Carolina Central University, LinkedIn, and CITI Program, ranging from Community Partners Development Certification to THE RCR FOR ADMINISTRATORS.
