Robert B. Keast currently serves as a Public Outreach Specialist at Clemson University and as an Environmental Scientist I and Restoration Designer at MAD Scientist Associates, LLC. Previous experience includes a role as a Research Assistant at the School of Environment and Natural Resources at The Ohio State University, where Robert collected biological and water samples within the Ohio River Basin and developed GIS maps. Additional positions held include Landscape Architecture Intern at Preservation Parks of Delaware County, Graduate Teaching Assistant at both the Knowlton School and the School of Environment and Natural Resources at The Ohio State University, Directorate Resource Assistant Fellow with the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service, and Assistant in Research at Michigan Medicine. Robert earned a Master of Landscape Architecture from The Ohio State University and a Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Science and Urban & Regional Planning from Eastern Michigan University.

We deliver accurate, complete, and timely data that can streamline the environmental compliance process and allow clients to make better-informed and more sustainable land use decisions. MAD Scientist Associates also helps clients understand and successfully navigate increasingly complex regulatory requirements and permit processes to meet project goals as efficiently as possible. We offer a variety of ecological consulting services in the areas of wetlands and streams, ecological risk assessment, ecological studies, and environmental education.
