Yamina Dessein

Yamina Dessein has extensive work experience in the field of technical writing and support. Yamina held the position of DITA Specialist & Support Specialist at MadCap Software, Inc. from March 2023 onwards. Prior to that, they worked as a DITA and Support Specialist at IXIASOFT starting in May 2022. Yamina was also a Speaker at Comtech Services, Inc. in November 2022 and has given numerous presentations as a Speaker at Comtech Services, Inc. in various years including 2017 and 2015. From December 2016 to May 2022, they worked at bioMérieux as an Information Architect, DITA / CCMS Specialist, and DITA-OT Developer. Additionally, they were a Technical Writer and DITA-OT Developer at bioMérieux from January 2015 to November 2016. Prior to bioMérieux, they worked as a Technical Writer and DITA-OT Developer at Astellia from April 2014 to January 2015.

From 2006 to 2009, Yamina Dessein attended University College Dublin and obtained a Bachelor's degree in Civil Law. In 2009 to 2010, they pursued further education at Université Paul Valéry - Montpellier III, completing a Master's degree in International Project Management. Following this, from 2013 to 2014, they attended Université Rennes 2 and obtained another Master's degree, this time in Technical Writing, Technical Communication & Translation.
