Innovation consultant/Project Lead at Made Design & Innovation

Jasper Aelvoet has a diverse work experience. In 2022, they began working as an Innovation Consultant/Project Lead at Made Design & Innovation, where they facilitated circular business model change in the social sector from single-use packaging to reusable packaging. Jasper also began working as a Coordinator and Lector at Karel de Grote-Hogeschool, pushing the Digital Nomad program forward. In 2020, they became a Freelance Product Designer. In 2019, they worked as a Design Researcher at Edmire.Design. In 2018, they worked as a Brandmanager at EDGE Antwerp and as a Productdesigner at Dim Atelier. From 2015 to 2018, they worked as a Product Designer at Before The Wave (Studio Peter Van Riet), translating ideas and concepts from clients or internal projects to concrete projects and solutions, building and testing prototypes, and gathering meaningful user insights. In 2014, they became a Freelance Product Designer. From 2012 to 2011, they worked as a Co-Founder at Xperiment, creating handshaped Belgian longboards, and as an Internship at Edmire.

Jasper Aelvoet obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Product Design from Hogeschool West-Vlaanderen - Vlaamse Autonome Hogeschool between 2007 and 2010. Jasper also attended De Haagse Hogeschool / The Hague University of Applied Sciences in 2009 and obtained a bachelor's degree in Industrial product design (IPO). Finally, they obtained a Master's Degree in Productontwikkeling from the University of Antwerp between 2010 and 2014.
