Kate Bennett has a wealth of work experience, beginning in 2001 with Claim Jumper Restaurants, where they were a Company Wide Assistant. Kate then gained experience with FormulaPR as an Internship in 2007, followed by a role as a Broadcast Account Coordinator at Mindshare/GroupM Matrix. In 2009, they took on the role of Broadcast Account Negotiator/Coordinator at GroupM. From 2013 to 2014, they worked as a Line Cook at Hi Hat Public House, and at Snack Bar as a Garde Manger, Pastry Chef and Assistant Pastry Chef. From 2015 to 2017, they worked at Vox Table as a Chef de Tournant/Sous Chef and Line Cook. In 2017, they became Lead Chef De Partie/Jr. Sous at Pitchfork Pretty, and in 2019, they took on the role of Lead Chef de Partie Greenbelt Concept at GM Culinary at Facebook. Most recently, they have been working as Hospitality Sales at Made In since 2021.

Kate Bennett has a diverse educational background. Kate attended California State University, Chico from 2002 to 2006, where they earned a Journalism degree with a focus in Public Relations and Music. In 2012, they completed a diploma in Culinary Arts/Chef Training from the Auguste Escoffier School of Culinary Arts. In 2017, they obtained a Restaurant Business Management Certification from the same school. Additionally, in 2018, they received a Certified Food Manager (CFM) certification from Learn2Serve.
