Project Assistant Volunteer at Made In Hackney

Lejla Kevrić has extensive work experience in various roles. In 2022, they worked as an Engagement and Skills Delivery Freelancer for Somerset House Trust. Prior to that, in 2021, they served as a Project Assistant Volunteer at Made In Hackney Community Cookery School. In 2019, Lejla worked as an Illustrator and Designer, and in 2017, they pursued an MA in Design Expanded Practice at Goldsmiths, University of London. From 2013 to 2017, they worked as an Art and Design Teacher at Raine's Foundation and also served as a Supply Teacher from 2013 to 2014. Lejla began their journey with Somerset House Trust in 2011, where they held multiple roles, including Workshop Assistant, Summer Family Workshops Assistant, and Volunteer Staff. Lejla also worked as a Web Banner Designer for DANGEROUSLEE.BIZ in 2011. Before that, from 2010 to 2011, they worked as a CAD Designer at Soho Kidswear, responsible for product development and liaising with overseas factories and buyers. In 2009, Lejla was a Designer and maker for Vidal Sassoon Creative Director show.

Lejla Kevrić pursued their education at different institutions and engaged in various fields of study. In 2000, they attended Leeds College of Art and Design, where they earned a Bachelor of Arts degree with Second Class Honours (2:1) in the field of Fashion/Clothing. Following this, from 2012 to 2013, they enrolled in Goldsmiths, University of London, where they pursued a Postgraduate Certificate in Education specifically focused on Age Ranges 11-18, with a specialization in Design and Technology. Later on, in 2017, Lejla continued their academic journey at Goldsmiths, University of London, acquiring a Master's degree in Design Expanded Practice.
