Roozbeh Farahbod

Roozbeh Farahbod has a diverse work experience in the technology industry. Roozbeh started their career at SAP, where they held roles such as Associate Architect and Senior Developer, focusing on performance analysis and scalability of software systems. Roozbeh then joined Huawei Technologies as a Team Lead and Senior Software Architect. After that, they worked as the Head of Software at tooz technologies GmbH.

In 2019, Roozbeh became a Mentor at Techstars, providing guidance to startups in the B/S/H Future Home Accelerator program. Roozbeh later served as the VP of Engineering at Userlane, where they led the engineering department, implemented new processes, and supervised technical due diligences.

Roozbeh also has experience as an Interim VP Engineering at Cybus and as a Technical Advisor at cofenster. Roozbeh then took on the role of Chief Technical Advisor at Made2Flow, where they provided strategic guidance. Currently, they are working in Stealth Mode as the CTO.

In addition to their positions in various organizations, Roozbeh has also worked as a Technology Advisor, Mentor, and Coach, helping software organizations and team leads in their early stages of growth.

Roozbeh Farahbod has a strong education background in software engineering. Roozbeh completed their B.Sc. in Software Engineering from Sharif University of Technology, where they studied from 1997 to 2001. Roozbeh then pursued further education and obtained an M.Sc. in Software Engineering from Simon Fraser University, attending from 2002 to 2004. Roozbeh went on to complete their Ph.D. in Software Engineering from Simon Fraser University, studying from 2004 to 2009.
