Andy Naftz is a seasoned professional in technical theatre and design, currently serving as a Senior Draftsman at MadeFirst since August 2022. Previously, Andy held the position of Lead Technical Designer and Project Manager at Konduit NYC for one year and acted as Engineering Manager at IWEISS from October 2019 to July 2021. Experience also includes time as Draftsman and Associate Draftsman at Pink Sparrow, and Technical Director roles at Atlantic Theater Company, Finger Lakes Musical Theatre Festival, and Merry-Go-Round Playhouse. Andy's educational background includes a Master of Fine Arts in Technical Theatre from Virginia Tech and a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Occidental College, further complemented by a Technical Director Assistantship at Virginia Tech. Notable productions include "The Light in the Piazza," "Saturday Night Fever," "Sweeney Todd," and "Plaid Tidings."
