Phil Saunders

Phil Saunders is an experienced professional in the mobile plant industry, currently serving as General Manager - Eastern Australia at Mader Group since July 2013. With a career spanning over three decades, Phil has held various roles at Mader Group, including General Manager for Southern Qld & NSW and Manager of Eastern and NSW Operations. Prior experience includes positions at Macmahon as Mobile Plant Superintendent and at Downer, Doug Hood Mining Ltd, First Quantum Minerals LTD, KOMATSU Australia Pty Limited, and Cooks Construction, where roles also focused on mobile plant management. Phil's career commenced at Roche Bros., progressing from Heavy Mobile Plant Mechanic to senior supervisory roles at multiple mining sites. Phil holds a degree in Mobile Mechanical Trades from Launceston Technical College, complemented by foundational education at Brooks High School.
